Daily Journaling Helps:

Daily journaling helps, you can trust me on that statement. I have been journaling since age twelve. Some days I can not function if I do not sit and write about the day and how I felt or how I solved the situation.

I do not have a set type of journal in my life, I have notebooks I use for bullet-journaling and I have planners filled with daily journal posts for days I am away from home.

Types of journals:

Journals of all types are in my office…

  • Daily journal
  • Prayer journal
  • Gardening journal
  • Life Lessons journal
  • Idea book
  • Playlists I created
  • Thoughts on books and music
  • Tips from podcasts
  • Quotes I love
  • And many more, it’s another way of STAYING ORGANIZED IN MIDLIFE

What about you? Do you journal? Have you found it helps on a tough day?

“Keeping a journal of what’s going on in your life is a good way to help you distill what’s important and what’s not.” – Martina Navratilova

Bullet Journaling:

I enjoy watching bullet journaling videos, but I follow my own path with how I attempt the craft.

Favorite bullet journaling supplies:

  • Washi TapeI love making borders with washi tape and underlining headings
  • Stickers… I decorate journals and planners with stickers, they fit in the tiny spaces of a planner and make a journal page catch your eye on a difficult day.
  • Journal sets… a set with matching stickers, washi tape and stencils, especially in my theme journals

Bullet Journal YouTubers:

I use different notebook types and love to create pretty pages!

“Writing is medicine. It is an appropriate antidote to injury. It is an appropriate companion for any difficult change.” — Julia Cameron
